FSW-0508TX 5-Port Unmanaged Fast Ethernet Desktop Switch

The LevelOne FSW-0508TX is a compact 5-port Fast Ethernet switch designed for SOHO and home users who need a simple, reliable way to expand their wired network. Each of the 5 x 10/100BASE-TX ports supports up to 200 Mbps in full-duplex mode, providing workstations and networked devices with a congestion-free connection for everyday tasks such as web browsing, file sharing and IP-based services.

Featuring auto-negotiation on every port, the FSW-0508TX automatically selects the optimal speed (10/100 Mbps) and duplex mode when connecting to other devices. Auto-MDI/MDIX support eliminates the need to worry about crossover vs. straight-through cables, letting any port act as an uplink for cascading additional switches to grow the network.

A store-and-forward switching architecture helps filter error packets and maintain stable, reliable data transmission. IEEE 802.3x Flow Control further protects against packet loss during periods of heavy traffic. With a 2K MAC address table and automatic learning/aging, the switch is ready to support small network growth without manual configuration.

The FSW-0508TX features a compact, lightweight housing with a convenient magnetic base for flexible placement on metal surfaces such as racks, cabinets or office furniture. Plug-and-play operation means users only need to connect the Ethernet cables and power it on—no software setup required.
