The LevelOne FVT-1103 single-mode fiber optic media converter with SC connector is perfectly suited to convert network signals between copper and fiber optic based networks. The converter has a 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port, supports full-duplex and half-duplex connectivity as well as 10Base-T and 100Base-TX auto-sensing. A range of up to 40 km can be achieved with the appropriate single-mode fiber optic cables.
The converter can be used either stand-alone or as a plug-in module for the CHV-2000 19" chassis, which can accommodate up to 14 units for use in a central wiring closet.
