The LevelOne GEP-1011 is a 10-port Gigabit PoE switch designed for small and medium business networks that need to power and connect IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones over a single Ethernet cable. It provides 8 PoE-capable 10/100/1000Base-T ports, 1 additional Gigabit RJ45 uplink and 1 Gigabit SFP uplink for flexible connectivity to core switches or fiber backbones.

Compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at, the GEP-1011 delivers a total PoE power budget of 120W, supplying up to 30W per PoE port to compatible devices. Built-in PoE detection and overload protection help ensure safe power delivery, automatically identifying powered devices and cutting power to ports that exceed the budget or are not PoE compliant. This reduces the need for separate power supplies and makes it easier to deploy devices in ceilings, corridors, or remote corners where power outlets are limited.

The combination of one Gigabit copper uplink and one 1000Base-X SFP uplink port gives administrators the freedom to connect using either twisted-pair cabling or fiber, depending on distance and infrastructure.
