The LevelOne GEU-1621 is a 16-port Gigabit unmanaged switch designed for small and medium business networks, workgroups and surveillance deployments that require simple, reliable and high-speed connectivity. Delivering up to 1 Gbps on every port, it provides enough bandwidth to handle large file transfers, HD video streams and everyday office traffic without bottlenecks.

A built-in 4-mode DIP switch lets you easily optimize the switch for different scenarios without software or complex configuration. With a single toggle, you can choose between Extend mode for longer-distance links, Port Isolation for improved security between ports, Flow Control Off for maximum throughput, or Standard mode for general-purpose networking. This hardware-based profile switching makes it easy to adapt to changing needs in seconds.

GEU-1621 supports Nway auto-negotiation on all 10/100/1000 Mbps ports and Auto-MDI/MDI-X, eliminating the need to worry about straight-through versus crossover cables. The switch automatically selects the best speed and duplex setting for each connected device. Front-panel LED indicators provide at-a-glance status for each port, helping administrators quickly verify link and activity.

With support for 8K MAC address auto-learning and auto-aging, the GEU-1621 maintains efficient forwarding tables even in busy networks. IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet helps reduce power consumption during low traffic periods, making it an eco-friendly choice for always-on environments.
