GSW-1657 16-Port Unmanaged Gigabit Switch
The LevelOne GSW-1657 is a 16-port Gigabit Ethernet unmanaged switch designed to deliver a fast, seamless upgrade from Fast Ethernet to full Gigabit performance. With 16 x 10/100/1000Mbps ports and a switching capacity of up to 32Gbps, it accelerates file sharing, backup, and multimedia traffic across workgroups, home offices, and small business networks.
Featuring wire-speed switching and 9K jumbo frame support, the GSW-1657 improves throughput for high-bandwidth applications such as HD video, CAD, CGI rendering, and large file transfers. An 8K MAC address table with auto-learning and auto-aging helps maintain stable performance as the network grows.
Installation is completely plug-and-play—no configuration required. Each port supports auto-negotiation for optimal speed and duplex mode, along with auto-MDI/MDIX to eliminate the need for crossover cables or dedicated uplink ports. Front-panel LEDs provide at-a-glance status for power, link, and activity, simplifying basic monitoring and troubleshooting.
