El LevelOne GEL-2871 es un switch gigabit gestionado L2 plus inteligente de 28 puertos con 24 puertos RJ45, 2 x 1GbE y 2 x 1/2.5GbE SFP fiber slots, diseñado para aplicaciones de conectividad empresarial o de grandes grupos de trabajo con el rendimiento de conmutación sin bloqueo y velocidad de cable y funciones avanzadas de gestión de red.
El switch soporta una interfaz de gestión flexible basada en web para IPv4 e IPv6, así como acceso de gestión por consola, SNMP y Telnet. A pesar de su precio asequible, el GEL-2871 está equipado con muchas funciones avanzadas como el snooping del Protocolo de Gestión de Grupos de Internet (IGMP), VLAN basada en puerto/MAC/etiqueta, IEEE 802.1D/w/s Spanning Tree, Lista de Control de Acceso (ACL), IEEE 802.3az Ethernet de Eficiencia Energética, Protocolo de Control de Agregación de Enlaces (LACP), IEEE 802.1p QoS, Control de Tormentas para proteger contra broadcast/multicast/unknown unicast y mucho más.
