El switch GTL-2872 es un switch de acceso Gigabit Ethernet con cuatro puertos de enlace ascendente de 10G. El switch es ideal para proveedores de servicios de Internet (ISP) y operadores de sistemas múltiples (MSO) para proporcionar a los usuarios domésticos servicios de triple play con un ancho de banda de hasta Gigabit. También es un switch de acceso Gigabit ideal para redes de PYMES, empresariales y de campus. El switch GTL-2872 está repleto de funciones que brindan alta disponibilidad, seguridad integral, control de multidifusión robusto y QoS avanzado al borde de la red, al tiempo que mantiene una administración simple. El switch también es compatible con la administración IPv6 más avanzada, la seguridad IPv6 y el control de multidifusión IPv6 de acuerdo con el crecimiento de la implementación de IPv6. Los ISP pueden expandir sus servicios desde el hogar hasta los usuarios empresariales proporcionando una red más confiable y resistente (ITU-T G.8032 ERPS), VPN L2 y funciones OAM (Operaciones, Administración y Mantenimiento) avanzadas para garantizar los acuerdos de nivel de servicio.
