La serie GTL-2881 incluye switches Gigabit Ethernet Layer3 Lite de alto rendimiento que cuentan con 28 puertos; 24 puertos 10/100/1000BASE-T, dos puertos 10G SFP+ y una ranura de expansión 10G para un módulo de doble puerto. El switch es ideal para agregaciones de servidores de alto rendimiento, como centros de datos empresariales, donde puede conectar servidores de archivos de alta gama o conectados a la red a través de puertos de fibra. También se puede implementar como una actualización de backbone o para proporcionar Gigabit al escritorio para usuarios avanzados.
