El GTL-2891 es una familia de switches Gigabit Ethernet de capa 3 de alto rendimiento que cuentan con 28 puertos; con 24 puertos 10/100/1000BASE-T, 2 puertos 10G SFP+ y una ranura de expansión de doble puerto 10G. Los switches son ideales para agregaciones de servidores de alto rendimiento, como centros de datos empresariales, donde pueden conectar servidores de archivos de alta gama o conectados a la red a través de puertos de fibra. También se pueden implementar como una actualización de backbone o para proporcionar Gigabit al escritorio para usuarios avanzados.
