Der GTL-2872 Switch ist ein Gigabit Ethernet Access Switch mit vier 10G Uplink-Ports. Der Switch ist ideal für Internet Service Provider (ISPs) und Multiple System Operators (MSOs) geeignet, um Heimbenutzern Triple-Play-Dienste mit Gigabit-Bandbreite zur Verfügung zu stellen. Er ist auch ein idealer Gigabit Access Switch für SMB-, Enterprise- und Campus-Netzwerke. Der Switch GTL-2872 ist vollgepackt mit Funktionen, die hohe Verfügbarkeit, umfassende Sicherheit, robuste Multicast-Kontrolle und fortschrittliche QoS für den Netzwerkrand bieten und gleichzeitig eine einfache Verwaltung gewährleisten. Der Switch unterstützt außerdem die fortschrittlichste IPv6-Verwaltung, IPv6-Sicherheit und IPv6-Multicast-Steuerung gemäß dem Wachstum der IPv6-Bereitstellung. ISPs können ihre Dienste von Privatanwendern auf Unternehmen erweitern, indem sie ein zuverlässigeres und widerstandsfähigeres Netzwerk (ITU-T G.8032 ERPS), L2-VPNs und erweiterte OAM-Funktionen (Betrieb, Verwaltung und Wartung) bereitstellen, um Service-Level-Vereinbarungen sicherzustellen.
